Casey has been dancing since she was just 3 years old. She started at Dance X-Treme with ballet, then added jazz and contemporary, then hip hop, and her love for dance just kept going. Dance has always fostered a sense of family for Casey. In high school, she began dancing competitively with Parkville Dance Power where not only did she learn an immense amount of technique and performance, but also what it's like to have a group of friends that will always be there for you. Casey took these lessons and went on to college, where she found a new dance family in InMotion Dance Ensemble at Temple University. Here she found her passion for choreography and continued to fall in love with the magic that is dance. This magic took her to many classes and conventions with well-known industry leaders. Every lesson taught is then put back into her classroom and choreography to help instill this love of dance and connection in her students.
Today, she has spent 7 years working in the dance industry as a competitive instructor for hip hop, contemporary, acro, jazz, musical theater, and modern. She has had many successes, but her greatest success is providing a classroom that is a safe space for children, one that bolsters hard work, togetherness, and support! In the competitive world, you're only as strong as your weakest link, but in the real world your weakest link is your biggest opportunity!
